Love Shall Prevail
Love shall prevail above all else.
How can hate surpass the top shelf?
People I know, and people I see,
Always play games—mind you please.
Even though, the stress will come and go;
My heart, for you, will continue to grow.
Love is so amazing, it makes me want to wallow
For it's only a gift, a God could bestow.
As we end each new day,
May it be with peace where we lay.
For I hurt in my soul, which is vividly known—
So let us love to prevail, manifesting kindness full grown...
I couldn't imagine, living my life without it.
Overwhelmed is my heart, it begins to melt.
An emotion, with so much benefit,
Such power will never be unfelt, I must admit.
At all events you so choose,
Be that in love—mind you.
Please open your heart and allow yourself;
For love shall prevail above all else.
