Love of the 21st Century
This thing called love could be nice,mean,healthy,unhealthy and even devastating. With the knowledge of this we still do it almost like the silly mistake of unprotected sex with the unexpected result 9 months later.
Love from the start can be so wanting. All day text conversations, late night phone calls. These things almost seem sure like EBT on the first of the month.
Halfway through all day text conversations turn into a medium. Almost like a 12 hour shift in a 24 hour work day. Phone calls turn into assurance of safety instead of actually conversating.
Leading towards the end with the beginning being a vague memory. The want of wanting the beginning back when we are banging like the police on the door of the end with us constantly searching for directions back to the door of the beginning...like and unexpected result...9 months later.
And thats devastating
