Love Is Scarlet Red

Where have all the words gone
when I am desperately looking
hiding behind the bushes
I want to yell out loud
as it is frustrating
I would want to grow some fangs
to suck out all the vocabulary
from a dusty old library
skimming through thesaurus
title sounds so pre-historic
made me think of dinosaurs
to excavate the words
buried deep in my mind
only if oxford dictionary
were some sort of pictionary
to find the meaning of love
would have been so easy,
painted in scarlet red
defining the pain and pleasure,
the rest of the words
would all be different curves.

It can be very frustrating when the right words don't come, try as you might. I love the idea of 'growing fangs to suck out all the vocabulary,' and the idea of somehow 'excavating the words.' Well done Ravi! Best wishes, Keith
