Love In 2020

Mightily into endless possibilities
In a coracle I sail,
To once feel your hands trail
Down hope's amenities...

"Flickering faith, is that you?",
Empty fists thudding air
The static too loud to bear...
"I need love, your love subdued".

Bathing in benisons a million
Yet, a pounding desire for a hue anew
A longing lure crept and grew...
One for my cheek, vermillion.

My head spinning with these thoughts
Lick away the learnings of the past,
Hurry! I need at least this dream to last.
Pinned people pile, time rots...

I see myself, I scurry past...
A shape, a colour and an emotion I throw
Almost full, to the you-shaped furrow
Caustic conversations, my new time pass.
