Love Hate Away

From whence it came and for what purpose, completely mystifies. Could be from earth's galaxy with The One God to look toward or another universe, though those with degrees say such is jive. Perhaps, said denial is one omnipotent wisdom has long adored. Here it did appear, causing humans to endlessly, painfully agonize, as it senselessly, cruelly, ever stains us to deny us an Eden accord. Hate is why we are here, we are to love it away, make it vaporize. God made egos sick prone so hate lessons come and are absorbed. To aid this, He put truth in our souls that further nudges us to realize all hate guises and love alter them radiantly, spiritually restored. First hate likely fast flashed with potential to pass ignored but due to an attention need, first man chose to dramatize. Seeing his feelings fed, others wished to feel likewise preferred. Egos grew and began dramatizing all happenings under the skies as if all time brought was for just one person's discord or reward. Since, selfish, hate based fallacies have destroyed peaceful lives, caused horrific wars and nightmares harmony cannot afford. Earth and mankind are saturated with violent blood and soul cries. Some do not even know why they were handed a gun or sword. Still, back and forth, hate ever slithers towards peace's demise.

Very poignant poem. Love and hate, or love and anger cannot coexist in the same heart. Love displaces that anger or hate. This poem brings that out beautifully. Yes, I can identify and agree with every line. Thank you!

I meant every line, written from my spirit with words 'spirit provided.' I'm relieved to know my intuition about being like-minded wasn't a wacky miscue. No, no, no - THANK YOU. Blessings ... CayCay

Hey, there. So glad to see you read this one. While I didn't read all poems that placed, I found it interesting that the ones I did read were about hate in the poet's personal life, a perspective that didn't occur to me. I think hate may be a blanket word covering hostility, resentment, rudeness, etc. to some people. Perception determines all. Poetry hugs ... CayCay

Seems to me that 'hate' has the upper hand in modern times b/c its sworn enemies -- love, truth and faith -- have been so badly weakened, devalued and decimated on both the left and the right. The ever-shrinking 'middle' simply is overwhelmed by the power of hate. ~ Just sayin,' Gershon

I hear you. I've given those same thoughts a lot of consideration and arrived at the belief that it only appears that way because love, truth and faith are quiet which makes for boring news (so the media thinks, with rare exception.) Hate is very loud, dramatic, makes money for many media venues. Some people are fascinated watching 'train wrecks', if you will. I hope I'm right, Gershon. At least, we have begun at the correct starting point, ourselves. Love ya ... CayCay

The ending in this, Hits so strong dear cay cay. What a heartfelt poem this is and how well youv depicted hate! Its sad when peace dies and ego is dramatized leaving hate to slither and linger for so long , while some dont even know why they hate. I love the profound nature of your poem and how it flows so well! Best wishes. Sending you light always

Thank you for such confirming feedback. We must use our pens to help rid the world of hate, as best we can, we need to spread truth. Of course, we can also witness truth in our day to day lives. I'm very happy that you love the poem because it loves you back ... CayCay

Cay, you have written some very profound words; hold on to love and let go of hate. There's plenty of animosity out there, and it may turn violent and deadly at times.

When Adam ate the forbidden fruits, he put love on one side and opened the gates of hate. It is a feeling that in reality it leads nowhere. Your poem is very much to the point. I can say I hate no one though others ignore me. Blessings to all.

Victor, I came close once. When I was 18, I shared an apartment with another 18 yr. old girl. Her boyfriend was ego-sick-jealous of mine. One day, I came home to find all my poems on my bed, dead from poured bleach and cokes cigarette-butt laced. They destroyed all my poetry as written and kept since adolescence. So, for one second, I either hated her or she was the first person & only person, I've ever wanted to punch, maybe both. They hurt me, I lost of lot of my parts to that clorox. Thanks for reading ... Very well done on this theme!! You stuck to the specifics of what the judge wanted so I think you have a good chance for a win. I used an older poem that wasn't as specific to just hate. Your poem is very wise . Good title too.
