Unlike the seas, who believe
In keeping their secrets,
Seizing the hopes and dreams
Inspirations that agree
Generosity sees the need
Provides without expectation
Contributes and never listens
To the voice of greed – believes
Giving is the way to bring to life
Representative of His sacrifice
The light, reflecting grace
Pleads with the shame, the doubts
Stirring both feelings of hope
And feelings of faith who blend
Together with the love who knows
It is the whisper of compassion
Silencing the darkness, stretching
Its hand across the skies
Erasing the breaths of disgrace
Pouring out light who abides
On the inside, in the spirit
Where only God is the witness
To kindness that is ever precious
Gentling the heart and gifting
Each feeling with tenderness
Easy flow of laughter,
Smiles that abide on the whispers
Brought to life by insight
Inspirations from the heart
Who knows that it is in acceptance
Where hardness surrenders
To the touch of a strength
Far greater, wiser, fiercer than
Any resistance found in the darkness
Faded blows of reservation, disbelief
Suspicions that surely deceive
It is obedience to the One who is
Creator, our Maker, who brings
The promise of a real victory
Quiet winds of joy, peace
Whispering through the breeze
Seeing only the good
His promises bring to those
Who grow their hearts with belief
In a love that abides, through doubt
Through grief, through the darkest
Moments of despair, disgrace
Dread that haunts, despite
All the hope that is alive
In the calm, the hues of grace
Serenity unfolds in its wake
Assuring the soul of a place
Far more wonderful than earth
A home where God is the One
To bring light and life, love
The darkness deceives
With slanders and smears,
Deceptions so real
They penetrate the dreams
Yet, verity sings
Candor and realism
Integrity that agrees
To the facts who free, honesty
So certain that God’s love
Pours fidelity, purpose
Through the heart who agrees
It is the actuality of mercy
Who vibrates through the spirit
Breathing wonder, mystery
Inspiration who compels
Believers to agree… His truth
Brings the spirit victory
In agreement
We each see the reason
For life, love, lasting
Through this life, into the hereafter
Where His light shines, sparkling
Through the hearts and souls
Making a way where no way was known
Reassuring the soul that love is in control
And, it is Him – the One who knows
Souls, - who brings the answers
The agreement that in unity
We find a way to succeed in this life
And to know the wonder of love
Eternally, forever – with Him,
The Maker of every living thing
Every heart, every hope, every goal
He is the Maker who knows…
How to shine through our own soul
The opposition would like to see
Our spirits in pain, our grief, our disdain
But, through love – through grace
He brings a sweetness to erase
Every doubt, every fear, even the tears
That find their way to our spirits
Destined to bring feelings of despair
Yet, there is no darkness that can
Overwhelm our love and our sincere prayers!
