Laura Leiser Poet Rhyme

Love Divine

Eternal life is beyond earth's ties
Freedom finds true meaning there
Great love beams from the Savior's eyes
How marvelous to know He cares.

In my present state sin weighs me down
Just knowing this brings heavy tears
King of kings wore a thorny crown
Lived to conquer death's dark fears. 

Making Christ a living sacrifice for all
Not a wasted day was ever spent
Overcomer, He negated the devil's call
Pure and holy, He was heaven sent.

Quiet confidence was ever His
Resting in the Father's will
Satisfied to know that from this
True life was given, God's plan fulfilled.
