Love At First Sight

Eyes matched the sky
That night, blue and twinkling
Warm heart and sweet soul
Is what I was thinking.

She tried to sell shy
Not buying, couldn't sell.
Not the tough or the cool,
She was just real
I could tell.

Love at first sight never happens for real.
This I thought would never appear.
Until the moment my eyes laid on her,
Stopped dead in my tracks,
It was clear, not a blur.

I felt myself fall that one very second
Her beauty her stature
To my heart they did beckon.

Don't let this all end
My place to be,
All my life I’d been waiting
For her to find me.

Together with others nothing fit right like this
Her hand touched me knee,
I wanted a kiss.

A whirl wind of passion
Through the depth of my soul
Nothing was missing,
Real love, I felt whole.

If apart, not alone
A connection so strong.
This is it, it's for real-
I waited so long.
