Love and Smiles
In wild joy nothing matters but the feeling of
seeing sunlight crafting colours in eyes that, they say,
don't see too good, sun coloured fairies dance a beautiful
dance, joined by softly sung hymns from sirens
floating just above sea level, their long hair
trailing just below the water. Awed my feet
dance but only in my head, a dance of seawead,
pearls and jelly-fish, in their white trailing
bridal gowns. Your hands strike chords
inside my gentleness, touching my spine
with expert hands, Rachmaninoff on my vertebrae.
A beach of sunlight, dancing fish, and you.
I turn around and find my fingers explore
your lips, a composition of love and smiles.
