Love and Liberty

Of all the things in my heart, The one I treasure the most is Liberty. Now my liberty Isn’t the kind That is in the government. Liberty is the name of my retriever. She is the sweetest thing, I love her so much And I would do anything for her. I can always tell That she loves me back By her smile. Every time I come home, She is there waiting outside my car door Waiting for me to step out And rub her belly. She makes little noises That make my heart swell.
