Love Again
I know you've been hurt, and you don't feel the same
You gave your all to him and he gave you nothing back
Right now you hate feelings and don't know where your heart is at
But I hope I can be the one to make you believe in love again
You're scared to try again, still your heart bleeds
I don't want to feed you a bunch of words that you don't want to eat
I want to know where it went wrong before and where your heart is at
Tell me why, when you fell, other guys thought you were so hard to catch
I want to know your secrets, the ones hidden beneath
I've been scared of love myself, but your smile makes me want to leap
We've all been hurt before, but I want to know your whole story
Maybe the losses we felt separately, will lead to our glory
I know he hurt you, and you need to heal yourself first
But everyday I'm going to show that my actions match my words
A girl as beautiful as you, should never be insecure
I have so much to write about you, you'd think I'd never used a pen before
Your eyes tell a story that I can't wait to read
I just hope you're willing to start a new page with me
Whatever comes our way, we'll face it together, chase it together, it'll make or break us together
I just hope you're committee to chasing forever
