Love

Raindrops falling. Sun shining bright. Rainbow as far as I can see. Endless it seems miles I roam. Near the end, I’m getting close. Hoping for a POT-O-GOLD! Rich and wealthy will I be. No worries and cares for me. In a field of green I come to a stop! Little man perched on stump. Tells me, I’m the one who gets his treasure. Choose my friend and only one. Black pot running over with gold Fair Maiden sitting all alone No hesitation in sight, I take the pot hand it to the withered old man. He looks and smiles your choice is made. Walking away he say’s. Why you go? Money is fine while Love is grand! Taking thy Maiden in my arms. Keeping her close to my heart. Carrying her off to a world of new. Not a gold piece in my pocket. I’m the richest man in the world. For thy love for her holds true.
