Lovable

Our cats are lovable, we know that's true!
   Sweet kittens do fulfill that special place.
There are some other ways cats share love, too-
   given the moment, at some time and place.

Sweet kittens do fulfill that special place
   reciprocating love to show they care.
Given the moment, at some time and place,
   they can unselfishly one-sided share.

Reciprocating love to show they care
   was not the goal of this sweet kitty pet;
they can unselfishly one-sided share
   a bond so lovable- one can't forget.

Was the not goal of this sweet kitty pet-
   For, she adopted six small chicken eggs!
A bond so lovable- one can't forget-
   and hatched them neath her furry chest and legs.

For, she adopted six small chicken eggs.
   She cared for them just like they were her own;
and hatched them neath her furry chest and legs.
   She groomed them like a mama chicken clone.
