Louisiana Nightmare

---Brown Pelican Speaks--- I dreamed I danced with sea-creatures, Between here and before… I dreamt I wept with wandering waves, Confused by silence, unable to ebb and flow… I dreamed I prayed with the spirits of old sea captains, Upon angelic clouds, unable to soothe the dry-docked tears Of their grandchildren, looking skyward for hope… I awoke………frozen in oil
