spent a lot of money for jackpot win
but it was his bad luck

started selling tickets for a living!

HEy, I don't think I ever congratulated you on this one, Kash. That gives me something to say tonight with not a new poem except the one I already saw of yours this morning. Joe had to go back out tonight, so I can catch up here!!

That is why almost all convenience stores sell lottery tickets. I often fold my hands with palms touching each other and say "namaste" when I enter those places. Good limerick, Kash.

another good one for the contest Kash! Trying to find your poem 'Talk To Me', can you tell me in what page it is? And yes! you're the first one who get it, Khamush in my poem is always referring to Silence, a guru on its own. Thank you so much for your visit and your comments on my poems, it's an honor ~.~

I liked the irony of the ending of this, Kash. SElling the tickets for the very thing that bankrupted him! Let me know if I am still missing seeing some poems of yours!!

Wonderful write Kash! That's what will happen to some people if they keep playing the lottery more and more...they will keep losing until all their money is gone! Sad really! Oh sure, those that play responsibly don't run into this problem, it's those that don't know when to stop that run into problems!! Great poem! Awesome Work!!

You can't win if you don't get in - but putting in too much gets you poor in a rush. Nice Limerick Kash. Good luck in the contest.
