Lost In Space - a Diamond In the Dark
A diamond in the dark
Desolation has found its spark
Superficial beauty it does stark
Choking tightly around the guillotine's neck
Lost in space, a drifting, worthless rock
Imitation jewellery for luminescence it does lack
Devoid of shine, a dead meteor ice block
The solar wind has missed thy flag
Absolute zero floating thy log
Lost in space, way off track
Deprived of an eye's look
Out of luck, sight of black
Imitating something interstellar
An empty core it does possess without thy pillar
Light, steady, ready to pull the trigger
To reveal an outstanding figure
A diamond is forever in the glow of a star
Lost in space, thy light is my spar
