Lost In Comfort

Lost in comfort, to forget about you,
hidden away are the tears I cried.
Snuggled within the folds and softness,
of an old worn throw, with fringe tied.

Silken threads of russet, slide through,
my thoughtful fingers, one by one.
Each thread becomes a memory of you
when after all is said and done.

I really like this one, paula. I can see how it got a first place. I came looking for recent winners and came instead upon this older contest on the page where he told us to look for yesterday's winners. But I am sure enjoying THIS list.

" Silken threads of russet' slide through...." what a lovely line. Should be on the winners list. BG
