Lost and Found
Please take my broken heart Lord,
It's weak and badly bruised.
Wandering through the dark this long,
Has left me so confused.
I've tried to make sense of,
My life, my soul, my voice.
But every door I opened up,
Was never the right choice.
I've failed to change my life Lord,
My will is not that strong.
Take my soul and cleanse it Lord,
I've been lost for way too long.
I just can't do this on my own,
Alone I can't transform.
I need to find peace and joy,
Mostly shelter from the storm.
Anger and rage devours me,
It drains my self control.
I'm sinking fast I need your help,
To save my heart and soul.
My defiant ways and wrongful acts,
Have caused me pain and strife.
I will accept the consequences,
And strive to change my life.
Your never ending love for me,
Will be my saving grace.
You rescued me from myself,
And helped me find my place.
You've waited for this moment Lord,
I know I took too long.
I surrender my whole life to you,
And share it in this song.
