Lost and found
Owing to a pact we made long ago,
God’s angel appeared to us in disguise,
offering to restore light we’d let go,
arising from our life choices unwise
but the promise came with a proviso,
that if our soul seeks to climb to new highs,
we must first agree to make our heart pure,
with eye mindful, touch gentle and demure.
God’s light, the angel said, is in our heart,
so given this clue, known to very few,
we deemed silence as the best way to start,
for sans thought, our heart’s pure, like morning dew
and thus simply by adding love to cart,
we resurrected our soul’s light anew.
Ego disappeared, God Himself appeared;
we became the light, by sages revered.
