Lost and Found

LOST AND FOUND No way out of this mess No way to peace in my mind Wandering in a maze of distress Not even looking behind Joy had departed for good Nothing could ease all my pain No one at all understood Nothing at all could I gain ‘Til one day I heard His sweet call I stopped and silently mused Pondering in earnest my fall Wondering why I’d refused Gazing intent on His face I suddenly realized true love And though I had known disgrace I knew angels were singing above For now a lost soul had been found No longer I wandered alone My life is now solid and sound For Heaven is my future home Copyright 2012, Kathryn Search
