You’ve always been here
in my heart, in my dreams
Although oceans apart
you can’t leave me it seems
I haven’t been with you
I’ve not seen you grow
Though my feelings have strengthened
I want you to know
My sweet little girl
how I long your affection
You’re a picture of me
you’re my better reflection
My blood trickles through you
to bind us together
You’re my one, my only
and I’ll love you forever
