Losing It All

look at the pages covered in devotion words praising love promising him my heart forever his told hold I can't but laugh my innocence how naive I was to believe I promised a man forever fate hates promises wants to shatter the words we speak I seat here thinking I'll always go on loving him but there he lives buried deep beneath the ground thirty one years a life cut so short a love that will last forever in my thoughts he will always live but this world doesn't care for my thoughts a world that doesn't see how much he meant tomorrow I'll cry tonight I'll weep the memories are always mine no one can't take those I'll remember his love and mourn the death of my heart
