Los Murcielagos

dare grapple the manifest,
night approaches on padded paws,
plight transcends simple sentience,
fight fear with closed eyes,
	bare verdant vision,
		a gaze never unkind,
                ablaze lighting the way,
bright beckons the morning star,
	pare time with thought
	prayer extolled through silence,
	rare devotion riveting,
sight unseen revealed,
                divine is the labor shared,
		entwine thee my heart’s dressings,
        where eyes proclaim care,
height unfathomed yet found,
right, a means to an end,
tight clasped comforting arms,
	fare thee well forever
