Lord God, You Are My Entreaty-Filler
January 9 Relationship to God Bible Meditations Based on Genesis 25-27
Key Verse – Genesis 25:21 And Isaac intreated the LORD for his wife, because she was barren: and the LORD was intreated of him, and Rebekah his wife conceived.
LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY ENTREATY-FILLER
Lord God, You are my entreaty-Filler
Who truly provides and fully blesses
Thank You for protecting me from struggles of selfish causes…
Forgive me for dwelling in worldly premises
And for not abiding in Your plan because of evil forces.
Lord God, You are my entreaty-Filler
Who rescues me from spiritual famine
Thank You for admonishing me to abstain from any sin…
Forgive me for sojourning inside enemy’s camp of cursing din
And for not obeying Your voice that supplies my empty bin.
Lord God, You are my entreaty-Filler
Who enables me to abide in Your will
Thank You for cleansing me of guilt with Your sanctification-bill…
Forgive me for compromising, deceived by stinging falsity-pill
And for not pitching my desires toward Your holy hill.
Lord God, You are my entreaty-Filler
Who makes me productive and fruitful
Thank You for multiplying my abilities for me to be bountiful…
Forgive me for building own altar with motives, arrogantly awful
And for not performing my covenant because I’m cowardly doubtful.
Lord God, You are my entreaty-Filler
Who loves me completely, indeed very dearly
Thank You for bringing to me Your kindness so sweetly…
Forgive me for neglecting Your call deliberately
And for not responding to Your divine invitation consciously.
Lord God, You are my entreaty-Filler
Who cares for me with peace and compassion
Thank You for granting me wisdom along prudent discretion…
Forgive me for depriving my soul with Your gracious satisfaction
And for not valuing Your presence, exchanging it with worthless function.
Lord God, You are my entreaty-Filler
Who timely answers my need
Thank You for breaking my yoke from haughty deed…
Forgive me for indulging in purposeless greed
And for not reaching Your standards where You have me freed.
