Lord, Give Me Your Approval -2 Timothy 2: 15

O Lord my God full of mercy and truth I humbly come to you to seek your face pleading your forgiveness and redemption in emptiness I come to your amazing grace Teach me Lord to be on my knees reverently in godly fear speaking prayer learning to listen to your still small voice hearing you clearly is like clear morn air Give me a mind for real study make your word implanted in my heart help me meditate upon it real deep so your holy writ pierce me like a dart Provide me with all spiritual weapons to fight off the devils deadly attack help me to stand strong against him clothed in Christ’s righteousness no lack Make me faithful to the end holding forth your word divine no matter what hold me close Having that assurance you’re mine O Lord fill me up with yourself make me true to you as my friend give me your holy approval in Christ to walk in your steps I ask, Amen!
