Lord, Release Me
Lord please release me, release me today;
For this I say, I pray, Lord release me, release me today. . .
Let me walk into your beautiful, beautiful arms;
Oh! Lord God release me today---
The story goes, there was a twelve year old boy
Suffering from a terminal illness;
Has stage four cancer, and only weeks to live OH, LORD
the people say, his friend and parents say, they pray,
WHY, WHY him....
But there's something about this boy, He's full of joy;
And his light shines brightly so...
He still smiles he has done the will of God
Lord please release me, (he says) release me Lord release me today
Let me walk into your beautiful, beautiful arms;
Let me reign live with you in heaven for always;
Lord, please release me, release me today
elsewhere there is a single mother husband been dead for seven years;
She has raise by herself four beautiful children;
the youngest just turned nineteen and on her own;
the doctor told the mother got seven months to live;
but yet she smiles on, smiles now
her light also shines so brightly
as she sings to the children
Lord please release me, (She sings)
release me Lord release me today
Let me walk into your beautiful, beautiful arms;
My time is up here on earth I did what you want done;
Now's the time to come home
Lord, please release me
She utters it's okay I've raised and delivered mine children
She is ready for her conversion...
Lord, the children say release her
Lord release me
