Long Kiss Goodbye
Every story has a beginning and end
a good and bad guy, a plot and scheme
but I guess I was looking for the
fairytale with her and me I was just daydreaming
This is just another sad ending
now in my mind she fell in love
with a writer, you know my seductive sentences
but thru it all she made me wonder
what could make a woman make
the same mistake twice
that's like knowing it's loaded, but you gotta
pocket full of paper and still you roll the dice
But while I was outta sight she was busy
trying to get right, deception is a terrible disease
and once a human being gets away with it once
it's almost like a nigga committing a crime
the greed is overwhelming ask yourself
are you a buyer or seller, a bad or good fella
The story is similar... maybe the same
another couple torn apart by choice not fate,
deception, unfaithfulness, infidelity
these are the actions that turn love to hate
you know when the heat is on you can't shake the jakes
but when one has been pushed but so far
and is so close to the edge
their freedom is the next thing they pledge
releasing the chains from ones self
and departing from what we call drama
This is the aftermath and I am
that one that can't be reasoned with
I made my mind in this situation
I am the good, I've made my decision
it's no use trying to reach me
it's like shooting at bullet proof glass
so, goodbye is what she can say to my a$$
