Long Gone Day
She runs endless miles
Through fortitudes and trial
Longing to see
A moment
A time
When yesterday brought belief
A dieing flower
a love letter torn
A silent place of pain
Where reality is born
For many a days traveling
Unable subdued
She rocks back and forth
In a love song of truth
A summer day of love
With nothing to prove
Now each brush stroke
Slowly removed
She Sits In a frame
Once painted with ease
A picture of remembrance
Fading with age
