Lonely Bird

Sweet lonely bird Surviving earthquake and thunderstorm How come you hang on, my friend When all the trees are gone. Where did you hide your head? When the rains were angry. Where did you find your daily bread When the sun showed it's fury. Did your heart miss a beat? Or you threw caution to the wind. Did your soul feel the heat Of rising stones, as they grind. Sweet lonely bird Surviving earthquake and thunderstorm Hang on my dear friend Even when all the trees are gone
