Lone Bird

I stay awake; I am like a solitary bird on a roof Psalm 102:7 CSB lone bird, wings claustrophobic, abalone-gray sans dandelion’s glory surrounded by seeds

I feel like that bird. Some poets are not responding. Persecution mania?

Very cool! A poet’s eyes always catching the nuances of nature and the inner world.

I love this verse too, it is a poignant sad picture of the flock-less bird. I like how you out seeds in the poem, with all the future promise they hold.

I don’t understand them all either. This one came from the bird I saw today. He was all alone on a fence with his wings tight to his sides. I was then doing my bible study and came across this verse! Hugs
