Lizards of Galapagos Lizards on Galapagos are large With appendages going this way and that Not human in most regards Iguanas crawl and that’s not all They dance the Fandango but not the Hula (In consideration of the rules) We are happy to report They eat flesh but not in church Sex is forbidden as well In isles and in pews All creatures on Galapagos have lizard smiles Are quiet when they sleep And when they die… Become extinct
