Notes About The Poem

As we grow old love takes on new shapes. One of the best parts of being a couple is being eager to tell a partner all about what happened. No one to tell leaves such an empty feeling.

"The new silence is deafening, as I write to tell you all about my day, wondering if they have post boxes where you are."

Living Without A Loved One

Alone.
All on my own.
I have no one to tell.
My dreams diminish and dispel.
Miss you.

Blank Stare.
The love's still there.
Coping though still feel blue.
My world was all you, only you.
Silence

Feign death.
Holding my breath.
Awaiting your return.
Need to tell you - When will I learn ?
You're gone.
