Living Wisely As a Mature Believer - Colossians 4: 1-6
Being wise as true servants of Christ
treating fellow bondservants being just and fair
remembering God above sees everything
so be kindly gracious always with godly care
Be faithful always in daily prayer
coming before God's mercy seat
always being thankful for God's grace
believing His love your eternal street
Intercede for those in real need
that God would open clearly His word
so opportunities for His message do come
for many hearts would be stirred
Paul here speaks from the prison cell
for having declared the mystery of Christ
making God's word known absolutely clear
that for man's sin Christ was sacrificed
Use the time wisely walking among all
speaking truth to every man with grace
so knowing how you answer everyone
being a believer of maturity in God's place
(Masters, treat your bondservants justly and fairly, knowing that you also have a Master in heaven.
Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving. At the same time, pray also for us, that God may open to us a door for the word, to declare the mystery of Christ, on account of which I am in prison— that I may make it clear, which is how I ought to speak.
Walk in wisdom toward outsiders, making the best use of the time. Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person.)
