Living Off of the Government

We scowl at this great country we live in? Such ingrates we can be…….almost a sin! Never appreciating its grand freedoms? Instead fake news paints unholy doldrums! We never had cities, destroyed by war. Instead, we just demand more and more. Such ugly, scowling crowds on TV screens. Not grateful at all, just unseemly mean! The good, the giving, like first responders. Replaced by crooks from countries far yonder! Worse yet, by those born on our own shores. Who want everything free~eternal more! Perhaps, we can cease being wee, adult babies? Get a job, get off-line, lazy-daisies! ***Note…There is a plethora of jobs in the USA. But some have forgotten the dignity of a paycheck. Of giving to others, which is a true joy. *** *** Note… this does not apply to those who are validly disabled or ill…..certainly!. I understand that. Just to those out to “beat the system.” 7/17/202 ~1~

Well, Bill, how I missed your comment is beyond me. I am sincerely sorry. Sure, I tell it like it is. The problem is, some poets misinterpret the poem, I was and am ….still a fan of President Kennedy. Ask not what your country can do for you, ask instead….what you can do for your country. I realize this upsets some,then do not read me or anyone you cannot relate to and be on their way? God Bless America. Panagiota XXX

I agree. Some never plan to work at all, but live off of us who have always contributed. My daughter will take any job while she waits the 45 days until her nurses license in Hawaii goes through. She will be here the middle of August and then I will get to see my youngest granddaughter who is two. This is an honest look at our country. A Fave! Blessings xxoo

Thank you for sharing the good news about your daughter. She has great ethics learned from you, Connie! Good you will see your granddaughter as well.this freeloading gets worse each year and far more bold. I know of twin who never worked one day in their lives. They are 50 years old, no kidding.they raise snakes? Both big as houses. Glad they are not mine! But we pay, you bet. People have NO shame, grateful for the FAV, my friend. Panagiota xxx

Hi Panagiota, I have to agree with you. The same thing happens here in Scotland. There are those who live off the system and they live well. I feel sorry for the truly disabled, they were being attacked because of those who were pretending to be sick. There are always those who want something for nothing. Hugs always ..... Mike.

Dear Mike, I hear this is a worldwide problem.and here in the states, the people demand more and more.oh so sad to hear they attack those who are really sick, I was in San Diego a few years ago. I found a man on the sidewalk tossed out of his wheelchair. I found someone to help me pick him up! In Chicago, found an old man asleep on the street. Teens were going through his clothes looking for money. I cannot repeat what I said to them! Such scumbags.but, they went running.i think we should help those truly in need. Iknow you do also. Self worth is awesome, Prince de Mino! The non workers are usually paid for in protests to destroy theUSA. As when soldiers came back from Nam! They spit on them. Such lowlifes! Integrity in the latrene! Am sure paying loudmouths to do the same, fills streets. Wonder what Prince Harry got paid to talk against the USA, on US soil? The UN hates the USA and Israel. Yes we have some in our society who don’t want to work. They want everything handed to them. Go out work, and contribute to society. Great poem.

Hello Panafgiota, yes we all go o school to learn. It does not matter what type of a job a person has earn a living. i worked in a children clothing factory for 19 years. Then6 months in a place putting labels on packages. It was a job. Love, Darlene xxx

We all go to school to learn and be part of a society that contributes to each other, no matter what kind of work we do,don’t you agree? Sorry to here that, yes, perhaps denying a needy one benefits, but here in the YSA, any working person has to pay not only taxes, feed a family, Pay for a home but for snails that will not work, God sees all this.
