Living In the Shadows (Of My Dream)
I see the oceans, vast expanse spread before me
I see the beauty of a world brought before my place of existence
Brushed through my mind like great waves of emotions
Where white caps tip the tsunami of every thought
Here in my place, I live
Hidden deep within this mental sight I reside
Living in the shadows of my dream
Where a world of beautiful color
Brings forth a universe of imaginations
As I float within this existence I feel the soul of life
Filling me with a magical comfort of unity
A joy of one among many
Held together by the beauty of all things created
And as part of this shadow I am able to observe
Unnoticed to see the real within all these imaginings
A wondrous sight I behold before my eyes
As I stare into this world of beauty
Seeing the emotions flow within my mind
Still the oceans spread before me with unremitting flow
Vast as it is
Conforming graciously to it’s boundaries where the land begins
Or where the ocean ends
Yet within this place of existence there is not the rule
To begin or end for all is continuous in an ever flowing circle
Waves to white caps
Flowing in uniformed thoughts of beauty
Though as I live
Living in the shadows of my dream
Beauty exists without the recognition of me
I watch ignored by the wondrous thoughts that flow within my mind
As all beauty conforms with one soul
A loving harmony within itself
Maybe the dream is real and the shadow is me
Waiting for light to vanquish the shadows I have created
To finally release the darkness in which I reside
Watching the white caps crashing to the beauty of the rising sun.
