Live In Happiness
Happiness, something we all yearn for. It can come at any given time of the day, and sometimes it can come when least expected. But if you really want to live a life of happiness, more times than not, one must create their own happiness. Every day I try my best to do that, I guess that's what makes me feeling young and alive. The littlest things can bring a smile to either yours or someone else's face...it all comes from the heart. For instance, yesterday I went to the supermarket to buy some eggs (which now are close to $6.00/dozen) off the wall. On my way I was stopped at a traffic light, when the light turned green, I let not one, not two, but three cars pull out of the Dunkin Donuts parking lot before I traveled on. There was a line of cars behind me twenty-long, so the three cars would have had a hard time getting out. The people in the cars behind me kept beeping, but the heck with them, would they have beeped if they were one of the three that I let out, I doubt it. Well, my courteousness paid off, I got to see three smiles and a gorgeous woman driving in the last of the three cars that pulled out (lol). I smiled, she smiled, and we were all happy. Then, while leaving the store there was an elderly woman buying lottery tickets out of a vending machine. She spoke broken English, but she was muttering something to herself while searching for another dollar in her purse. She had Two dollars, but she wanted to buy a $3.00 ticket, I sensed. So, I gave the old lady a dollar. She thanked me 3-4 times and blessed me and topped off her gratitude with a kiss on my cheek. Again, I created some happiness, she was happy and grateful, and I felt a Godly good feeling of self-happiness. Yep, just some of the littlest things we do in life, can make for a better world...and a life of happiness!
do onto others
what you would want done to you
live in happiness
