In the magic of that Christmas night,
His entire heart lived in his music;
A poor boy, whose drum could delight,
Gave his all by using his drumsticks!
His love so great, he needed to give-
As great love is impossible to hide;
Like passive buds burst forth to live,
Their colors admired the world wide!
The spirit of Noel was in your drum,
As bluebird's song plays endlessly!
Yearly your anthem we fervently hum,
For at times we see ourselves in thee!
