Literally a Sonnet About a Hornet

Oh buzz off you crazy crazy hornet
Trying to land here upon my buttock,
Here I am eating my crispy cornet
Lazing naked in my garden hammock.

Tried to coax it with my berry ice cream
But alas it seems unprepared or blind,
Dancing upon an invisible beam
Homing in on me with a one track mind.

Could it be I’ve enhanced the essence air
With a gross wind to further relieve me,
Or is this a mock symphony of flair
Of a Britain’s got talent “Bumble Bee?”

His “The classical flight” winning first prize
In pain my swelling one hell of a size!

Funny and clever although the hornet's sting is so painful. I once disturbed a hornet's nest, got well over a dozen stings! Now I understand the old cliche about people kicking up hornets nests.

Very clever, funny and creative my friend... Trust me on this, a hornet's sting is viciously terrible in its pain . I know from experience as a kid, honeybee sting is nothing when compared to a hornet's! Great entry into that contest. A7

Ha ha ha.... in my childhood life it happened to me. Few days i enjoyed the taste of pain of a hornet's bite. Interesting was that it sang a very nice buzzing sonnet song like a sweet lover while biting. Ooh! that i remember from this beautiful sonnet of your hornet poem. Loved always my lovely friend, you are genius always,bl

You made me laugh. You will get retribution if this stinger gave up his life for "bugging" you. Well done. well wishes!
