Observe Pacific blue butterflies,
using no words, yet they can speak.
Oblivious, they pollinize
they're beautiful and their bearing's meek.
Using no words, yet they can speak
Kitty eavesdrops as nature translates.
They're beautiful and their bearing's meek -
butterflies and kittens, you’re soul mates.
Kitty eavesdrops as nature translates.
Like a magnet, sheer joys attract
butterflies and kittens, you’re soul mates,
just by being, your lives have impact.
Like a magnet, sheer joys attract
butterflies inspire beyond their scope.
Just by being, your lives have impact;
might we poets compose with such hope.
Butterflies inspire beyond their scope,
oblivious, they pollinize.
Might we poets compose with such hope -
observe Pacific blue butterflies.
