Listen

you promised me that you would be there, Where were you? Where were you when I needed a friend? Did you even care? What happened to our friendship? What happened to the friend that I knew and could trust? Can you not see that? You've changed into someone else Are you ever going to be the same? You tell me that you hate everything about your life Is your life really that bad? What if you had to walk a mile in another's shoes? Would you walk the mile or be left behind? You take out your anger and frustration on everyone else Who is to blame? Often you walk by without looking up from the ground Is giving a second glance that much of a bother? I'm trying to tell you that I'm still here, that I'm still your friend You stopped but then kept on walking Do you hear me; are you even going to listen?
