List-A Feeling of Forever
When I first met you and looked into your eyes
I couldn't deny the feeling I'd been here before
Like I was remembering you from long age
I had a feeling of familiarity,
A feeling of home,
Of calm and comfort,
A comfy pair of sweats,
The first day of spring,
The first sip of coffee in the morning,
My mother hugging me,
Fond childhood memories,
My dog greeting me when I come home,
The full moon in the night sky,
Freshly mowed grass,
Birds greeting a new day,
Children laughing,
Ice cream on a hot day,
A warm breeze across my skin,
A golden sunrise,
Driving with the windows down,
Walking barefoot in the sand,
Catching snowflakes on my tongue,
Holding my sister's hand,
Waves rolling in the ocean,
Roasting marshmallows over a fire,
Rainbows after a summer storm,
Cotton candy,
The smell of warm apple pie,
Dancing in the rain,
Static electricity,
Fireworks on the 4th of July,
Wind blowing through the leaves,
Butterflies in my stomach,
The beating of a drum,
A strong connection,
A feeling of forever
