Linked Forever

Forever linked, a gift, a diamond, each other’s Valentine chosen. He vows that she is love and love is an eternal link that should never be broken. She vows, to-morrow is Saint Valentine’s Day, and I a maid at your window, to be your Valentine. Physically joined, now a sweet memory to be cherished. A gift to one another, a diamond in time, linked like the nascent Scottish tongue, from auld lang syne.
