Lingering Love
I’m smilin’
And glowin’
Can you imagine why?
So relaxed and happy
Since my sweetheart passed by.
He’s tender and lusty,
Then suddenly departs,
‘Twas time to separate hearts,
But why must we?
The beauty of the moment lingers,
Memory of entwined bodies and fingers,
Shared passions turn to afterglow
In the here and now we both know.
