Linear Peace
Oh, let me sit in peace and go,
within the pages white as snow;
between the lines as black as coal
to all the places You have sowed.
Oh, let me sit in peace and see,
the whole wide world You’ve made for me.
The mountains high the valleys low,
the pristine passes ripe with snow.
Oh, let me sit in peace and go,
from my life to Kipling’s “Just So.”
Between the leafs and lines I’ll Be
alight, aflame, pure harmony.
Oh, let me sit in peace and know,
the mysteries of friend and foe.
