Like They Seen a Ghost
Once, I was an angel.
Heard symphonies. Had no cares.
Never had to worry.
But, pride ensnared my heart
And constricted my spirit unjust
And I fell from glory and into the world of
Lust
What ungodly creatures are bound to this
Hell? What luxurious prison have they created?
With lies for epic and magical stories to tell?
All distractions from the reality of what is to befall
That GOD will be known in all his excellent glory when the trumpets call
And while here on this earth, man spit on me
Told me I was unkind, tried to beat the Love of GOD
Out of me over and over with time
Laughed as I bled and turned black and blue
And kicked me as I tried to rise from the muck and grime of their dew
And hate filled my broken my heart
Black tar, eroded all hope, compassion thereof
Until, I emerged from the ashes of Hell, the dirt and sin
As a QUEEN GODDESS through mercy, grace and love
And I will see their faces again. And fear of GOD
Will strike their hearts. As though they have seen a ghost.
