Like the Beach Needs the Sand

Why do people walk away Am I so easy to leave Despite the effort and the love Too often, I grieve Do I do the same to others Have I done so in the past Is it just life’s complications Causing good things not to last Perhaps, there’s no awareness Communication nowhere found That’s caused this dark blue feeling I keep losing so much ground Insecurities take over Not knowing where I stand I know that I need people Like the beach needs the sand
