Like parallel dimensions set apart,
how varied they exist on this great earth.
We are at ease within the plane where we
can share as human beings from our birth.
But, what about the microscopic world-
unseen, but dwells within our very midst,
knows not of us, but we know it; how hard
to reconcile we share and coexist.
With insects too...does that lone crawling ant
have knowledge of our giant presence here?
In its own world of blades of grass and dirt,
its universe exists but ends right there.
Unknown dimensions may be in our midst,
invisible, immense, or have a sense
not shared with that in us that see or feel-
yet mingle in our presence- so intense.
Our senses, see and hear, smell, taste, and touch,
may not assist within dimensions that
do not give signals to interpret them-
and so, like ants or microbes, we react.
These grand dimensions magnify beyond
this tiny sphere where well-known facts disclose
we're dwarfed within our milky galaxy-
a speck of dust afloat in the cosmos.
Like parallel dimensions set apart,
how varied they exist in this great world.
More mystic still, in our grand universe,
what we don't know is yet to be unfurled.
