Like Dew In the Morning

Dew gathers on
the grass
      in the morning
The clouds gather
     for their daily dance
 The sun rises
once more
    Let's watch the flowers
grow
  After we see the
glory
     we'll rest in the
 meadow
       The day spreads before
us
       like a fawn moving
quickly
       in the afternoon
   The green carpet of grass
is rolled out before us
       We smile, breathe the
scented air
      sunlight
 keeps us warm
      the stream speaks
 to us
      as its water moves
over the stones
    wearing them down
Such is beauty
Such is fate
     Enjoy the day
before a cosmic blanket
of stars
    wraps itself around
our blue - green orb
