holding my breat as I read for as a child I did not like thunder or lightening.. but now appreciate the magnificence and beauty of its power Russell.. tremendous luv..

Yes, that is a fearful sight for the young..Enjoyed reading the creative and expressive work this morn..Thanks for stopping by...My husband has to plant at least something in the garden every year..He planted a big one and now is having back problems..I am not able to get out there and do the work anymore so I wish that you were near to harvest some of the crop..Sara

My grandson picked a four gallon bucket of peas off of two vines..We have eaten peas three days in a row..I fixed corn two days in a row but it was not quite filled out enough yet..It will be by Saturday or Sunday..We have had more tomatoes than we can eat and other vegetables ...Sara

All one can do is pray for it to move on, it is wont to strike from time to time. Those who respect it and fear it can avoid the wrath of its fury. You capture the essence of that fear well my friend. Thanks for sharing.

If it strikes close enough, it can bring fear into an adult's eyes as well. Did you see those players down in Arlington, Texas running into the dugouts for cover after a close call the other day?
