Lightning Haiku's

Brief jagged sky torch
Never permanent in sky
Coming and going.

........................................
Flashing stammerer
Strong voice like bomb blast
Rainy days colleague.

.........................................
Sky light!!
The moon and stars all give way,
Lightning train is come.

.........................................
In my serene sleep
Lightning roar in rainy night
Singing lullaby....

Great haiku series, son! I especially love the last one where you are hearing lullabyes in your sleep as the lightning roars outside. Nice touch of irony and great description throughout all the verses. Love, "mum"

A wonderful series of Haiku's. I like the last one. I love to sleep when the rain is pouring down and I like to watch the lightning zig zag across the sky. Nature's grand show. love mom

Charles, for some reason, I just really liked that middle one. I could picture someone stammering with a big strong voice. oops, as I read it again, I understood it was thunder!! And the others about lightening, cool images! Luv, Andrea
